Why a live cohort

You have the tool. This is how you master it.

Most researchers use AI the way they use a search bar: one prompt at a time, starting over with every section. The result is familiar.

50+ hrs

Spent writing, prompting, and checking citations per paper.

14+ drafts

Before the work is ready to share with a co-author.

4+ tools

Juggled across research, references, writing, and review.

This cycle ends here. In five weeks, you will build a complete, repeatable workflow from scattered notes to a submitted manuscript and a competitive grant, on your own real project, with live guidance at every step.

The outcome

What you will walk away with

Drafted sections of your own manuscript built inside Research Boost: Introduction, Discussion, Methods, and Results, grounded in your findings.
A pressure-tested draft that has been through simulated peer review before any human reviewer sees it.
Your grant, started : Specific Aims drafted and run through simulated study-section review, plus the frameworks behind Significance, Innovation, and Approach.
A repeatable workflow you will use for every future paper and proposal, plus the right mental model for working with AI without compromising your integrity.

The format

Live walkthroughs, not lectures

Every session follows the same rhythm: we build a real manuscript, then a real grant, live in Research Boost. You ask questions, then apply it to your own project before the next session.

🎥

Live walkthrough

Watch a real manuscript progress week by week, one section at a time.

💬

Discussion time

Bring your questions and stuck points. We troubleshoot live, every session.

✍️

Weekly action item

15 to 30 minutes on your own manuscript or grant between sessions. That is all it takes.

👥

Private community

A dedicated cohort channel for questions, wins, and feedback between calls.

The curriculum

Five weeks. From idea to a submission-ready paper and proposal.

Week 1

Set Up for Success

The mindset, the map, and the workspace. You leave with your project set up and your raw material ready.

  • The mindset for working with AI: what to delegate, what to own, and the ethical line journals actually care about
  • Key elements of a strong manuscript, and a strong grant, before you write a word
  • Live walkthrough: research ideas, literature review, and verified citations
Week 2

Introduction & DiscussionThe Quick Win

The two sections researchers struggle with most, drafted in your first week of real writing.

  • Multi-phase evidence workflows: define your framing, review the evidence threads, steer before it writes
  • Build your Discussion around your key findings and one-sentence core message
  • Keep your voice: the argument stays yours, the structure gets easier
Week 3

Methods & Results

The precision sections. No persuasion, no invented numbers, no shortcuts.

  • Protocol notes to reporting-guideline-aligned Methods
  • Tables and figures to Results prose, with anti-fabrication safeguards
  • Coherence check: your full manuscript body, end to end
Week 4

Grant & Proposal WritingPro+ Tools

The full grant toolkit, end to end, built on the frameworks of an NIH-funded researcher. All members welcome.

  • Specific Aims: the single most important page of any grant
  • Significance, Innovation, and Approach, with evidence-supported claims
  • The manuscript-to-grant flywheel: how this cohort's work feeds your next proposal
Week 5

Polish & Pressure-Test

Nothing leaves your desk untested. Manuscript first, then grant.

  • Abstract, final citation pass, cover letter, and journal strategy
  • Simulated peer review on your full draft: triage the critique, fix what matters
  • Grant Reviewer on your Specific Aims: the same habit, applied to funding

Who it's for

Built to augment expertise, never replace it

This cohort is right for

  • Pro and Pro+ members with a manuscript in progress, or a dataset and an idea
  • Physician-scientists and investigators building research programs
  • Fellows, residents, and postdocs building serious academic careers
  • Researchers who want a repeatable system, not one lucky draft

It is not for

  • Anyone looking for one-click ghostwriting without original input
  • Students seeking AI-written essays or course assignments
  • Anyone unwilling to review every claim, citation, and final decision
  • Passive watchers: this only works if you apply it to your own project

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does it cost?

Originally, this cohort is $2,000 per participant. For a limited time, I’m offering it completely FREE, exclusively to Research Boost Pro and Pro+ members.

What is the time commitment?

One 60-minute live session per week for five weeks, plus a 15 to 30 minute action item on your own manuscript between sessions. That is deliberate: small consistent steps on a real project beat marathon writing weekends.

What if I can't make a session live?

Every session is recorded and posted in the private community within 24 hours, along with the artifacts we build live and a one-page workflow checklist. But the discussion time is where the magic happens, so come live when you can.

I'm on Pro, not Pro+. What happens in Week 4?

You are welcome in every session. Week 4 walks through the grant tools, which are part of Pro+; you will see exactly how they work and decide whether they are relevant to your career stage. Cohort members get an exclusive Pro+ offer, available through the end of Week 5.

Do I need a finished dataset to join?

You need a manuscript in progress, or at minimum a research question and your findings. If you are earlier than that, Week 1 covers idea refinement and literature review, but you will get the most out of the cohort with real material to work on.

Is this ethical? Will journals accept work written this way?

This is exactly what Week 1 addresses head-on. You review every claim. You approve every source. You own the final work. Research Boost is built for AI-assisted writing that meets journal standards, with verified citations only, and the cohort teaches you the disclosure and integrity practices to go with it.

Your research deserves to be understood, funded, and published.

Five weeks from now, you could still be juggling tools and drafts. Or you could have a pressure-tested manuscript, a grant underway, and a workflow you will use for the rest of your career. Seats are capped at 100.
